Funeral service slated for June 25

The so-called sign guy, Ralph Dymer, a long-time Southampton fixture who offered his view of the world on homemade signs from a park bench on Highway 21 near the bridge in Southampton, died June 10.

There was mixed reaction to his ever-changing signs – a favourite summer one welcomed what he called the “Tourasses”.

One Facebook comment said Dwyer “put many a smile on my face as he did with many others. I saw him two days ago and he was in grumpy, but good spirits by Ralph standards. He’ll be sorely missed by many.”

An obituary on the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine said Ralph Edwin Dymer, who passed away at Saugeen Memorial Hospital ino.
Visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home is June 25, from 1-2 p.m. Final resting place is Kincardine Cemetery.
The funeral home site said memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy, and details to plant a memorial tree in honour are on the Davey-Linklater site.
